Instamart has teamed up with language learning app Duolingo for a playful on-ground campaign that brings the Internet’s favourite grammar debates to India’s streets.
The activation sees Duo, Duolingo’s iconic owl, stepping out to correct spelling mistakes commonly found on shop signs, menu boards and public posters. Using Instamart’s instant printing service, InstaPrint, corrected versions are printed on the spot and pasted over the originals—turning everyday typos into a live spell-check exercise.
From misspelled 'saloons' to punctuation gone rogue, such errors are a familiar sight across city streets. The campaign leans into the Internet’s long-running obsession with grammar mistakes while translating it into a real-world intervention. Social media users have already begun sharing sightings of the owl in action, with one post joking, “Aab ayega na maja Bhidu.”
Beyond the humour, the activation demonstrates the utility of InstaPrint, which allows users to print documents and materials instantly. Whether it’s a last-minute poster, a resume, or visa paperwork, the service aims to eliminate the scramble to find a nearby print shop.
Launched in 2025, InstaPrint is currently available across select metros including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. Through this collaboration, Instamart turns a familiar urban quirk—public spelling mistakes—into a witty demonstration of how quickly a print fix can now arrive.
