Jio Creative Labs has unveiled a new AI-powered public service campaign encouraging citizens to place bowls of water outside their homes, offices and neighbourhoods for stray and community animals during the summer season.
Built using artificial intelligence, the PSA centres around the idea that compassion does not require language. Through emotionally driven storytelling, the film highlights the challenges faced by birds, dogs, cats and other animals during extreme heat conditions when access to water becomes limited.
The campaign aims to inspire simple, community-led actions that can collectively help animals cope with rising temperatures across the country.
Speaking about the initiative, Aditya Bhat, Head of Jio Creative Labs, said, “Technology should not only innovate, it should humanise. With this AI-powered PSA, we wanted to create a simple reminder that empathy transcends language. Animals may not be able to ask for help in words we understand, but their need is real, especially during this unforgiving heat. If every household keeps a bowl of water outside, together we can save countless lives this summer.”
The initiative reflects the studio’s broader focus on purpose-driven storytelling and the use of emerging technologies to create socially relevant conversations.
The campaign is currently live across digital platforms.
