JioHotstar and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) have announced an expanded partnership to launch HBO Max in India, making JioHotstar the exclusive platform for the service in the market.
The HBO Max hub, now available on JioHotstar, brings together content from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios. The integration aims to offer a single destination for premium international content.

The platform will feature a range of upcoming and existing titles, including new seasons of Euphoria and House of the Dragon, as well as series such as The Last of Us, Succession, Game of Thrones and The White Lotus. Upcoming titles in 2026 also include Lanterns and the first season of the HBO Original series Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
With the expanded partnership, JioHotstar subscribers will also gain access to Warner Bros. Television shows such as Friends and The Big Bang Theory for the first time on the platform, along with titles like The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and The Flash.
The offering also includes films from Warner Bros., including franchises such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings and titles from the DC Universe.
The HBO Max hub is available as part of an add-on subscription starting at ₹49 per month, alongside JioHotstar’s existing content library.
