KP Group, an Indian renewable energy conglomerate with a portfolio exceeding 8.5 GW, has unveiled its latest campaign, ‘India Ka Asli Power Play’, spotlighting the growing importance of sustainable energy through the lens of sports.
The campaign draws parallels between the discipline and strategic precision of professional cricket and KP Group’s mission to accelerate India’s renewable energy transition across solar, wind, hybrid power, green hydrogen, and engineering solutions. Moving the conversation from the stands to the dressing room, the initiative positions renewable energy as the country’s true “game changer”.
Commenting on this campaign, Dr Faruk G. Patel, MD & Chairman, KP Group, stated, "In cricket, the Power Play defines the momentum of the game. At KP Group, we believe India is currently in its most crucial Power Play regarding energy transition. We are amplifying the message that the 'Asli Power Play' lies in Solar, Wind, hybrid, Green Hydrogen, and engineering innovations. We are proud that the Delhi Capitals dressing room stands with us in powering India’s future responsibly."
Featuring cricketers Axar Patel, KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ashutosh Sharma, the campaign aims to extend the dialogue around clean energy beyond the cricket field. With more than three decades of experience, KP Group has developed and executed large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects for industrial, commercial, and utility clients across India, while offering end-to-end project development, engineering, procurement, construction, and operations services.
