Liberty General Insurance has launched ‘Set The Example’, a new brand film for India’s 80th Independence Day that explores how everyday actions can influence the values passed on to the next generation.
The brand film created with White Rivers Media is built around the idea that children learn not only from what they are taught but also from what they observe, particularly how adults respond in difficult situations. It uses a familiar road conflict to explore this idea, with a child’s intervention prompting a shift in an escalating situation.
A visual reference to Mahatma Gandhi reinforces the contrast between aggression and restraint, with the film using music, expressions and imagery rather than dialogue to convey the change in perspective.
The film extends the idea of independence to the responsibility that comes with it, encouraging viewers to consider how everyday conduct can influence the generation that follows.
The campaign also connects this thought with Liberty General Insurance’s focus on preparedness, with the company highlighting insurance as a financial safety net that can help individuals and families manage unforeseen events and protect what they have built.
Jayesh Khatri, President & Head – Retail Distribution & Marketing, Liberty General Insurance, said, “India’s 80th Independence Day is a time to celebrate how far we have come as a nation and reflect on the future we are creating for the next generation. Children learn by observing those closest to them, and even the simplest everyday actions can shape their values and choices for years to come. At Liberty, we believe that being prepared for the future is an important part of our responsibility. Insurance helps people protect what matters most and stay financially secure when unexpected challenges arise. Through this film, we hope to encourage people to think carefully about their actions and be mindful of the example they set for those who follow them.”
