Mamaearth marked its ninth anniversary with an on-ground clean-air initiative across Delhi NCR, aligning its ‘Goodness Inside’ theme with activities aimed at raising awareness about air quality.
In response to rising AQI levels in the region, the brand deployed Anti-Smog Guns in several high-footfall areas in Gurugram to help reduce particulate matter and dust. The initiative covers schools, hospitals and colleges, as well as six busy routes: NH8, Golf Course Road, MG Road, Sohna Road, Golf Course Extension Road and SPR. The activation is running from 8–14 December.
Commenting on celebrating Mamaearth birthday, Varun Alagh, Co-Founder and CEO, Honasa Consumer Ltd., said, “As we mark nine years of Mamaearth, it reminds us why we started in the first place, with a simple belief that small acts of goodness can create meaningful change. This initiative reflects that purpose and encourages us to pause and think about the environment we share. Goodness has always been more than a tagline; it guides how we innovate and show up as a brand. We are grateful to every consumer who has believed in this mission and continues to walk this journey with us.”
Alongside this activity, the company continues its ‘Plant Goodness’ programme, under which it has planted more than one million trees while supporting farmers with income opportunities. Through its ‘Plastic Positive’ programme, Mamaearth reports recycling over 13,300 tonnes of plastic and says it continues to recycle more plastic than it uses.
