Pizza Hut, part of US-based Yum! Brands, has announced the appointment of Manish Guptaa as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Pizza Hut India. He will be responsible for leading the company’s marketing and branding efforts. Guptaa will also continue to oversee the Digital & Technology function until a new appointment is made.
In his new role, Guptaa will focus on strengthening Pizza Hut’s brand positioning in India, increasing its appeal among younger consumers, and supporting the brand’s ongoing development. His responsibilities will include initiatives centred around value offerings, product innovation, and targeted campaigns.
Speaking on the appointment, Rohan Pewekar, Managing Director, Pizza Hut Indian Subcontinent, said, “Manish has been a driving force behind some of our most impactful digital innovations and campaigns in recent years. His deep understanding of consumer behavior, combined with his strategic and tech-forward mindset, makes him the ideal leader to steer our marketing strategy into its next phase of growth. We are excited to see him take on the role of CMO and further strengthen Pizza Hut’s position as the brand of choice for today’s consumers.”
Guptaa joined Pizza Hut in 2019 and has led several digital initiatives as Chief Digital & Technology Officer. His work has included the development of digital commerce capabilities, performance marketing, and the use of data in brand strategy.

Guptaa has over two decades of experience in the quick-service restaurant, automotive, and consumer technology sectors. Outside of work, he is involved in mentoring and speaking engagements.
