Mondelēz International has appointed Vinay Subramanyam as Vice President – Marketing, India, marking a leadership transition within its marketing organisation. He succeeds Nitin Saini, who has moved to a regional role as General Manager, Indonesia, in Southeast Asia.
Subramanyam joins Mondelēz India from Kellanova (now Mars Snacking), where he served as Head of Marketing, South Asia and was part of the AMEA Commercial Leadership Team. He brings more than 20 years of experience across consumer goods companies, having also held leadership roles at Pidilite Industries, Britannia Industries and VIP Industries.

At Kellanova, Subramanyam led category growth, strategic business initiatives and brand and marketing efforts across South Asia. He began his career in sales and has also led marketing at Pidilite Industries and Britannia Industries, managing large cross-functional teams across categories and markets.
He has been featured in Business World's Top 50 Marketers and IMPACT's Top 100 Marketers lists. Subramanyam holds a Master’s degree in Management from MICA, Ahmedabad, and a graduate degree in Business Management from Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu.
