Obveus, an emerging independent 360-degree marketing and creative agency, has secured the retainer mandates for Twinings India and Ovaltine India, marking a significant milestone in its growth and strengthening its presence in the food and beverage category. Both brands are part of the international grocery portfolio of Associated British Foods (ABF), a global group with businesses spanning food, ingredients, agriculture, sugar and retail. Founded in 1706, Twinings has a heritage spanning more than three centuries, while Ovaltine, established in the early 1900s, has evolved into an internationally recognised malted beverage and snack brand.
The twin wins further strengthen Obveus’ growing portfolio of brands and businesses, which includes Adani Group, Bajaj, Tata, Mrs. Bector’s Food Specialities, Philip Morris International (PMI), House of Abhinandan Lodha and Saint-Gobain, among others.
Rohit Kumar Kanojia, Founder, Obveus, said, “Winning Twinings and Ovaltine is a proud moment for our entire team. These are brands with remarkable legacies, and being entrusted with their marketing is a responsibility we take seriously. At Obveus, we have always believed that clients need more than an agency that delivers individual campaigns. They need a partner who understands the business, thinks strategically and takes ideas from conception through to execution. That is the approach we have built the agency around. We are a young, growing team, and working with established brands such as Adani, Bajaj, Tata, Mrs. Bector’s, PMI, House of Abhinandan Lodha and Saint-Gobain has helped us build experience across diverse categories. Adding Twinings and Ovaltine to that journey is an important step forward. We look forward to working closely with both teams to create communication that builds meaningful consumer connections and delivers business value.”
MD. Gulfam Ansari, Marketing Head, Twinings India and Ovaltine India, shared, “Twinings and Ovaltine are two very different brands, each with its own heritage, personality and consumer promise. Twinings, with a legacy dating back to 1706, stands for craft, quality and the ritual of a good cup, while Ovaltine, rooted in Swiss nutrition science since 1904, is about nourishment, energy and everyday family moments. In India, our opportunity is to make both brands more familiar and relevant to a new generation of consumers who are more curious, health-aware and selective than ever. As a marketer, I believe growing brands today takes more than great campaigns. It requires consistent storytelling, a sharp understanding of consumer behaviour and execution that translates insights into measurable impact. We were looking for a partner who could understand what each brand stands for and translate that understanding into ideas people genuinely connect with. Obveus impressed us with its combination of strategic thinking, creative energy and execution rigour. We look forward to building the next chapter of both brands together.”
For Obveus, the mandates represent more than the addition of two new accounts. They reinforce the agency’s ambition to build long-term client partnerships and deliver integrated marketing solutions across the brand-building process.
As the agency continues to expand its portfolio, it remains focused on combining strategic clarity, creative thinking and hands-on execution to help brands stay relevant, strengthen consumer relationships and achieve their marketing objectives.
