Paytm Chief Marketing Officer Sidharth Shakdher has stepped down from his role, marking the end of a nearly three-year stint at the fintech company. Shakdher had been leading Paytm’s brand, media and consumer marketing mandate during a key phase of the company’s growth and brand-building efforts.
Shakdher announced his departure in a LinkedIn post, where he reflected on his time at Paytm and the opportunity to work on one of India’s most visible consumer technology brands.
Speaking about the move, Shakdher said, “After an incredible journey at Paytm, I’ve decided to move on and begin a new chapter. I’m grateful for the trust, learning and opportunities that came my way during my time here, and for the chance to work with some brilliant teams while building for one of India’s most recognised digital brands.”
Before joining Paytm, Shakdher held senior marketing roles across consumer internet and digital-first businesses. His exit comes as the company continues to sharpen its leadership structure across key business and brand functions.
