Pepperfry has launched ‘Pepperfry for Business’, a new vertical aimed at helping organisations design, build and furnish commercial spaces through an integrated partner ecosystem.
The platform is designed to bring together design, manufacturing, sourcing and project execution under a single offering, enabling businesses to manage large-scale interior projects more efficiently.
Pepperfry for Business will support the entire project lifecycle, from space planning and design to execution, furniture manufacturing, procurement and installation. The platform will cater to a wide range of sectors, including corporate enterprises, hospitality and retail chains, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and public sector projects.
The offering also includes turnkey design and build capabilities covering civil work, electrical and plumbing infrastructure to help clients execute projects seamlessly. Pepperfry’s design and project teams will work with businesses to create functional and scalable environments suited to operational needs.
Commenting on the launch, Ashish Shah, Founder and CEO of Pepperfry, said: “Over the last decade, Pepperfry has built one of India’s largest furniture ecosystems—spanning marketplace access, manufacturing capabilities, and a nationwide logistics network. With Pepperfry for Business, we are bringing these strengths together to solve a long-standing challenge in the commercial interiors industry, where projects are often fragmented across multiple vendors and processes. Our vision is to create a technology-enabled, end-to-end platform that simplifies how businesses design, build, and furnish their spaces—allowing organizations to scale faster while maintaining quality, transparency, and efficiency across projects.”
“We are very excited about Pepperfry for Business. Over the years, the group has developed significant expertise in B2B execution along with strong manufacturing and design-build capabilities. Pepperfry for Business brings these strengths together through a technology-led approach aimed at addressing the evolving needs of Indian businesses. We are pleased to see these capabilities aligned to create a platform that can deliver high-quality commercial interior solutions at scale like no one else,” said Umesh Sahay, Managing Director, TCC Concept Limited.
A key component of the platform is the company’s manufacturing ecosystem, which supports the development of both custom and modular furniture for commercial environments. The group operates a 1.25 lakh square foot manufacturing facility equipped with advanced production systems.
Pepperfry’s marketplace network further strengthens the offering, with more than 1,100 manufacturers and a catalogue of over 100,000 products across furniture, lighting, décor and furnishings, supported by a nationwide logistics network that delivers across more than 500 cities.
India’s commercial interiors and fit-out market is estimated to be worth over $30 billion and is expanding steadily with the growth of corporate offices, retail networks, hospitality developments and institutional infrastructure. With Pepperfry for Business, the company aims to support this demand by enabling partners to execute interior projects more efficiently across the country.
