Pepsodent launches ‘Cavity Fighters’ on Roblox to promote oral hygiene through play

Pepsodent, one of India’s established oral care brands, has launched its first immersive digital experience, Pepsodent Cavity Fighters, on the global gaming platform Roblox. The initiative introduces children and families to an interactive environment designed to build awareness about oral hygiene through play-led learning.

Built as a virtual world where users can clean teeth, complete tasks, and earn rewards, Pepsodent Cavity Fighters aims to make oral care education more intuitive for a generation growing up in digital spaces. The experience uses challenges, achievements, and in-game activities to reinforce everyday dental habits in a format that is both familiar and engaging for younger audiences.

Swagata Sharma, Oral Care Category Head, HUL India, said, “At Pepsodent, we’ve always believed that oral care can be both educational and enjoyable. With this collaboration, we’re making oral health learning more accessible, interactive, and relevant for today’s digital-first generation. Through Pepsodent Cavity Fighters on Roblox, we’re inspiring positive oral care habits in a space where families and young users naturally connect, learn, and play together.”

Winnie Burke, Global Group Director, Roblox, added, “At Roblox, we help brands spark connections with their communities through imaginative, immersive experiences which enable brands like Pepsodent to connect families with unique ways to engage on oral health education — proving how brands can reach new audiences in unique and innovative ways.”

Within the first two weeks of launch, Pepsodent Cavity Fighters recorded strong engagement on the platform:

  • Nearly 300,000 plays, surpassing early projections

  • 212,853 virtual teeth cleaned

  • 103,497 oral care tips collected

  • A 97% like ratio from players

  • 9,998 UGC items (avatar collectibles) claimed

  • Over 2 million unique users reached across India

Players who complete weekly oral care missions receive limited-edition Roblox avatar items from Pepsodent, offering digital tokens that acknowledge participation and encourage continued engagement with the theme of oral hygiene.
