Reliance Retail has appointed Sandeep Karwa as Chief Executive Officer for Ajio, Shein and its wider online fashion and lifestyle portfolio, according to media reports.Karwa joins the company after serving as Country Head for Taiwan operations at Coupang.
Before that, he spent over 12 years at Flipkart, where he held several leadership roles, including Vice President for Flipkart Ads.
Meanwhile, Vineeth Nair, who currently heads Ajio, is expected to move into a broader leadership role overseeing Reliance Retail’s fashion and lifestyle business. Nair has been associated with Ajio for close to a decade.
