BookMyShow, an entertainment platform owned by Bigtree Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., has announced a year-long partnership with RuPay, the card payment network operated by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). The collaboration will operate across digital and on-ground channels and is aimed at integrating payment solutions with access to live entertainment events across the country.
Under the partnership, RuPay cardholders will be able to access a range of events organised by BookMyShow. These include festivals such as Sunburn 2025, Lollapalooza India 2026, and Bandland 2026, as well as concerts featuring both Indian and international artists. The cardholders will receive benefits such as early ticket access, separate ticketing zones, select food and beverage offerings, merchandise options, fast-lane top-ups, and entry to lounge areas at specific venues. RuPay will also set up on-ground branded spaces at event locations.
On the digital front, BookMyShow will feature RuPay integrations across various user journey points, including the homepage and after-purchase stages, promoting the available benefits to RuPay cardholders.
