Sony Sports Network has announced its India cricket broadcast calendar for the season, bringing together multiple Team India tournaments from May 28 to Diwali under its new campaign ‘Goonjega India’.
The brand released three films celebrating the scale, emotion and intensity of the season where Sony Sports Network will be the destination for 10 major India series across television, with nine also streaming on Sony LIV. The line-up spans marquee international tours, multi-nation contests and major continental events.
The first two animated films under ‘Goonjega India’ announce the line-up of Indian cricket action, beginning with the Women in Blue taking on England starting May 28, followed by the highly anticipated Men’s India Tour of England kicking off on July 1. The calendar continues with Team India facing off against Sri Lanka and competing for regional dominance in both the Women’s Asia Cup and the 2026 Asian Games. Finally, the schedule concludes with a massive ‘Diwali blockbuster’ featuring the India Tour of New Zealand. Further strengthening the line-up are key ACC events including the Women’s Asia Cup 2026, Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026, U19 Men’s Asia Cup 2026 and U19 Women’s Asia Cup 2026.
The third film sets the stage for the upcoming India Tour of England in July 2026, framing it as a continuation of a deeply rooted and heated rivalry.
Commenting on the campaign, Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer and Business Head, Sports and International, Sony Pictures Networks India said, “Cricket remains the biggest force in India’s sporting culture, and with ‘Goonjega India’, we are bringing fans an extraordinary run of Team India action from May 28 to Diwali. From the Women in Blue’s England tour to the men’s marquee clashes in England, Sri Lanka and New Zealand, alongside the Asian Games and major ACC tournaments, this is one of the most compelling cricket line-ups on Indian television. Sony Sports Network is proud to be the home of this marquee cricket season.”
