super.money has entered the commerce space with the launch of ‘splitStore’, an in-app shopping experience that allows users to purchase products from leading brands and split payments into multiple interest-free instalments.
The offering brings commerce and lending together within super.money’s UPI platform, with the company positioning it as a move towards what it calls ‘split-commerce’. Built in partnership with regulated lenders, splitStore is designed to allow customers to spread the cost of purchases across repayments without paying interest or processing fees.
The platform currently features brands including Apple, Nothing, Mokobara, Nike, Marshall, Adidas and Snitch, with products spanning categories such as mobiles, fashion, electronics, appliances, beauty, fitness, gourmet food, home and furniture. The catalogue includes around 60 lakh products, with delivery supported by Flipkart’s infrastructure.

Customers can access the service after completing a KYC verification and do not require a credit card to use the instalment option. According to super.money, the offering does not include a revolving credit line, hidden fees or processing charges.
“UPI transformed how India pays. We believe that the next opportunity is transforming how India shops. Consumers today don't just expect instant payments, they expect instant access. With the launch of splitStore, we're making affordability a seamless part of the checkout experience by combining the speed and trust of UPI with responsible credit," said Prakash Sikaria, Founder & CEO, super.money.
He added, “The future of commerce won’t be defined by how people pay, but by how effortlessly they can buy. That’s the experience we’re building for India’s next generation of consumers.”
super.money said it has been testing splitStore over the past few weeks and has seen early adoption, including users making their first spread-payment purchase. The company also said it has observed improved repayment behaviour among early users.
The launch comes as super.money looks to expand beyond payments into commerce and financial services. The platform already offers payments, savings and credit products, while splitStore adds an embedded shopping layer to its ecosystem.
The company cited industry estimates suggesting that affordability-led payment options could account for nearly 14 per cent of India’s e-commerce transaction value, with the market expected to cross US$29 billion in 2026. The growth is being driven by the expansion of digital commerce and demand for flexible payment options, alongside relatively low credit card penetration in India.
splitStore is currently available to a select group of users on the super.money app, with a wider rollout underway.
