Swiggy is giving Dineout a refresh, simplifying its brand architecture as it looks to carve out a sharper identity in India’s fast-growing dining-out category. While the consumer-facing brand will now simply be Dineout, the Swiggy logo will remain part of its identity, retaining the trust and scale associated with the parent brand. The refreshed identity features a compact, lowercase ‘d’ logo designed to work more cleanly across app icons, screens and other touchpoints, alongside the familiar Swiggy pin.
A fresh mint-green colour has also been introduced, intended to give the brand a more sociable and approachable feel while reflecting the ease and spontaneity of dining out.
“Dineout is a big part of the dining and FnB ecosystem in India, and the new identity reflects that evolution. Moving from Swiggy Dineout to Dineout gives the brand a sharper, more distinctive identity, while retaining the Swiggy S pin as a mark of the trust and experience behind it. The new green identity reflects our growing ambition in dining out and the opportunity ahead for Dineout to build a category-defining brand for India’s vibrant and evolving food and dining culture,” says Mayur Hola, Head of Brand, Swiggy.
The new architecture will roll out across Dineout’s social channels, customer communications and in-app presence.
The refresh comes as Dineout runs its flagship The Great Indian Restaurant Festival (GIRF). This year, the festival has been reimagined as The Great Indian Ravi Festival, featuring actor Ravi Kishan and the line “Discount Followsss My Brothaaaar”. The campaign runs until October 24, offering discounts of up to 50% across more than 57,000 restaurants in 84-plus cities.
Integrated within the Swiggy app, Dineout currently brings together more than 57,000 restaurants across 84-plus cities, offering table reservations, dining discounts, payment benefits and in-restaurant payments.
