Tejinder Gill has been elevated to Vice President for India and Southeast Asia at The Trade Desk, expanding his mandate beyond his earlier role as Managing Director for India.
Now based out of Singapore, Gill will oversee the company’s growth strategy across two of Asia’s fastest-growing digital advertising markets, at a time when programmatic adoption continues to deepen in the region.
Gill has played a key role in building The Trade Desk’s India operations over the years, leading market expansion, strengthening advertiser and agency relationships, and driving adoption of programmatic solutions in an increasingly competitive ad tech landscape.
He brings over 15 years of experience in digital media and advertising. Before joining The Trade Desk, Gill was associated with Truecaller, where he worked on scaling its global advertising business across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. His earlier stints include roles at LinkedIn, Yahoo and The Times of India.
The elevation comes as The Trade Desk looks to strengthen its footprint in Asia Pacific, with India and Southeast Asia emerging as key growth markets within its global strategy.
