Saregama India has announced a leadership transition at its subsidiary Pocket Aces, with Vinay Pillai set to take over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from October 1, 2026. Pillai, who currently serves as Chief Business Officer, will succeed Aditi Shrivastava, co-Founder, MD & CEO of Pocket Aces.
As part of the transition, Shrivastava will step down from her executive leadership role and move to a strategic position on the company’s Board of Directors.
Shrivastava has led Pocket Aces as CEO since 2021, during which she helped build the digital entertainment company and its brands, including FilterCopy, Dice Media and Clout. Her tenure also included Pocket Aces’ acquisition by Saregama in 2023.
Pillai’s elevation reflects Saregama’s focus on internal leadership development. He has spent six years at Pocket Aces, first growing its creator management business Clout before taking on the role of Chief Business Officer.
An alumnus of Columbia University, Pillai has previously worked in consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton and founded streaming startup Dekkho. In his new role, he will lead Pocket Aces as it enters its next phase of growth and scale.
