YAAP has announced the appointment of Nishant Radia, Founder of Vidooly, as Head of Platforms, as the group deepens its focus on technology, data, and platform-led marketing solutions. In his new role, Radia will lead YAAP’s platforms and products charter, overseeing the development of proprietary technology, data intelligence frameworks, and owned platforms across influencer marketing, content intelligence, brand performance analytics, and creator ecosystems.
The appointment aligns with YAAP’s stated intent to evolve beyond a services-led digital agency model and build long-term value through owned platforms and intellectual property. This leadership move also coincides with the launch of YAAP’s dedicated Tech Hub in Noida, which will serve as the group’s central base for product engineering, data science, AI-led innovation, and platform development.
Commenting on the appointment, Dr. Atul Hegde, Founder, YAAP, said, “Nishant joining YAAP is a defining moment for our journey. As marketing becomes increasingly accountable, data-driven, and platform-centric, the next decade will be shaped by companies that own technology, not just talent. Nishant brings a rare combination of founder mindset, deep product thinking, and scale experience. This is a crucial hire as we build long-term value through tech, data, and owned platforms.”
Radia is widely known for founding Vidooly, a video analytics and ad intelligence platform that worked with platforms, broadcasters, advertisers, and publishers across multiple global markets. At YAAP, his role will focus on building platform-led solutions aimed at improving measurement, accountability, and scalable growth for brands and creators through technology and data.
Speaking on his new role, Nishant Radia, Head of Platforms at YAAP, said, “What drew me to YAAP was a shared belief that agencies must evolve into product-led, tech-enabled businesses. YAAP’s builder mindset—integrating technology to create products for today and tomorrow—strongly resonates with me. Having worked at the intersection of content and data, I’m excited to bring that experience, build and scale solutions that deliver real value.”
The newly launched Noida Tech Hub will house product managers, engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists, and will work closely with YAAP’s teams across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Dubai, and Southeast Asia to accelerate platform development and innovation.
As part of the same expansion, Ajay Mishra has joined YAAP as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the entire group. Mishra, also a former founder at Vidooly, will oversee the organisation’s technology architecture, engineering excellence, data infrastructure, and AI roadmap.
With these leadership appointments and the operationalisation of its Noida Tech Hub, YAAP is positioning itself at the intersection of creativity, culture, data, and technology as it scales its platform-led ambitions.
