Zuno General Insurance has launched a new chapter of its ‘Say Hi’ initiative, encouraging people to move beyond routine greetings and engage in more meaningful conversations around emotional wellbeing.
Built around the thought ‘Start a Conversation’, the campaign draws attention to how everyday interactions often begin with a casual “Hi” or “How are you?” but rarely create space for honest responses.
At the centre of the initiative is a social experiment-led film that asks participants a simple question: “How are you really doing today?” What begins with brief, polite replies gradually develops into conversations about stress, loneliness, workplace pressures, relationships and other emotional challenges.
The campaign comes amid growing public discourse around mental wellbeing, particularly among younger populations and working professionals.
Ketan Mankikar, Vice President & Head of Marketing, Zuno General Insurance, said, “In today’s fast-paced, hyper-digital world, when life moves at the speed of scrolls and swipes, we are constantly connected yet increasingly disconnected. At Zuno, we believe brands today have a larger role to play not just in offering products and services, but in shaping more empathetic and emotionally aware communities. ‘Say Hi’ was born from a simple insight: sometimes, people don’t need solutions, they just need someone to check in. Through this initiative, we hope to remind people that even a simple ‘Hi’ can spark connection, conversation, and support.”
According to the company, the initiative will be amplified through digital and social media platforms using short-form content and community-led engagement, encouraging people to check in with friends, family members, colleagues and themselves.
The campaign forms part of Zuno’s broader efforts to promote empathy, emotional awareness and human connection through its brand communication.
