Ashit Kukian has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Big FM, effective 1 December 2025.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Music Broadcast Limited (Radio City) from September 2018 to August this year. During this period, he led the network through changes in the audio entertainment market, working on innovation, audience growth and brand development.
Kukian has more than three decades of experience across radio, print, television and outdoor media. Before joining Radio City in 2018, he was COO-NewsX & CRO-Non News at iTV Network from May 2017 to September 2018, where he managed operations and revenue strategy. From November 2015 to May 2017, he was President-Revenue at Times Network, handling revenue responsibilities across multiple platforms.
Earlier, he spent ten years as President & Chief Operating Officer of Radio City (2005–2015), contributing to programming and operational strategy. Before that, he worked for nearly 13 years at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group) as Regional Head (1992–2005), developing regional media operations and sales functions. His career also includes involvement in RadioCity.in, an AA Jagran collaboration that integrated radio and digital content.
Kukian focuses on cross-functional team development, organisational discipline and balancing business requirements with creative output.
