Expressing his condolences on the passing of YAAP Founder and Chairman Atul Hegde, Gour Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Tribes Communications, described his demise as a significant loss for India’s marketing and communications industry.
Gupta said Hegde was among the early leaders who recognised the transformative potential of digital and played a defining role in shaping the industry’s evolution. Through YAAP, he built an organisation that reflected his entrepreneurial vision, innovative mindset and commitment to pushing boundaries.
“Beyond his accomplishments in business, Atul will be remembered for his willingness to build, challenge conventions and contribute meaningfully to the evolution of the industry. His journey has inspired many entrepreneurs and communication professionals,” Gour Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Tribes Communications said.
Extending his condolences, Gupta added, “On behalf of everyone at Tribes Communications, I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and the entire YAAP team. May they find strength and comfort during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”
