Bikram Basu appointed as Vice Chairman at ABD Maestro

ABD Maestro has named Bikram Basu as Vice Chairman, expanding his leadership responsibilities alongside his existing roles.

Basu, who has been serving as Managing Director of ABD Maestro since April 2025, will continue to oversee the company’s operations. He will also continue in his role as Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer for Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABDL) Group.

Under the expanded leadership structure, Basu will work closely with Pradipta Basu, Chief Marketing Officer, ABDL, and Arvind Hangal, Director – Marketing and Special Accounts – On Trade, ABD Maestro, to strengthen alignment across the group's marketing functions.

Basu brings nearly three decades of experience in the alcoholic beverages industry. He joined Allied Blenders & Distillers in March 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and has since taken on several leadership responsibilities across the group. He later moved into a leadership role at ABD Maestro, the company's subsidiary focused on its super-premium and luxury spirits portfolio, before being appointed Managing Director in April 2025.

Prior to this, he spent over 13 years at Pernod Ricard, holding several leadership positions.
