Branch International has appointed Sricheta Das as its new Head of Marketing for India, strengthening the company’s leadership as it scales its presence in the country’s personal lending space.
In this role, Das will be responsible for driving Branch India’s overall marketing strategy with a strong focus on customer acquisition and retention. She will partner closely with product, analytics and credit teams to refine market positioning, support the company’s growth plans and ensure that marketing efforts align with long-term business goals.
On her appointment, Das said she is enthusiastic about joining Branch International during a pivotal stage of its expansion in India. She highlighted the opportunity to help build a digital-first, customer-centric credit platform that uses machine learning to deliver responsible and accessible financial products to underserved segments.
Neeraj Gupta, Managing Director – India at Branch International, welcomed her to the team, noting that experienced marketing leadership will be crucial as the company continues to grow and strengthen its brand in the market.
Das brings over a decade of experience in financial services and fintech, having held various leadership positions at organisations including Bajaj Finance and KreditBee, where she led strategic business and growth initiatives.
