Fixderma, a dermatologist-prescribed skincare brand, has introduced a youth-focused initiative called ‘Pimple Police,’ aimed at educating students about safe and science-based skincare practices. The campaign will visit 35 colleges across the NCR and Mumbai.
According to the brand, the program uses a playful concept in which the ‘Pimple Police’ issue an ‘Arrest Warrant’ to clear skin, encouraging students to maintain healthy skin and motivating those with acne to adopt suitable routines. Fixderma stated that the initiative seeks to shift students’ perception of skincare from vanity to an investment in long-term health and confidence.
The on-ground activation features Fixderma’s mobile skincare vans, bringing dermatologists and brand experts directly to students. These sessions include consultations, myth-busting discussions, and demonstrations of effective skincare routines.
Shaily Mehrotra, Founder & CEO of Fixderma, said, “College is the stage where young people begin exploring skincare independently. With ‘Pimple Police’ initiative, we want to reach them at that pivotal point—helping them make confident, informed choices and understand that skincare is not a luxury, it’s self-care for life.”
Anurag Mehrotra, Director, Fixderma, added, “‘Pimple Police’ is about simplifying skincare for the youth in a way that’s both educational and exciting. We’re creating conversations, not campaigns—encouraging students to understand their skin rather than chase trends.”
Dr. Anuradha, Dermatologist at Fixderma, shared, “Many young adults experiment with products without understanding their skin’s needs. Our sessions aim to debunk myths, guide them towards mindful skincare habits, and introduce them to safe, dermatologist-approved routines.”
The brand has partnered with 245 Degrees Communication for outreach. Fixderma stated that through the initiative, it aims to democratize dermatologist-prescribed skincare and foster a community of informed, confident consumers making science-based choices.
