Flipkart and Marriott Bonvoy have released a joint marketing campaign titled 'Your Cart Takes You Places', promoting their recently launched loyalty integration that links everyday shopping with travel rewards.
Developed by 22Feet Tribal Worldwide, the campaign is based on the insight that many users search for items on Flipkart that also happen to be travel destinations—such as 'Korean skincare' or 'Bali earrings.' The campaign turned these searches into opportunities to discover Marriott Bonvoy stay options in locations like South Korea and Bali, alongside regular product listings.
This functionality was embedded in Flipkart’s search experience and remained live on the app for two weeks. Users were prompted to link their Marriott Bonvoy and Flipkart accounts, allowing them to earn and redeem rewards across both platforms.
The campaign included digital films in which shoppers unknowingly moved closer to holiday destinations through their searches.
