Rohit Jawa, former CEO and Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) and President of Unilever South Asia, has joined Bessemer Operating Advisor Network. The company took to LinkedIn to share the news of his appointment.
“As part of Bessemer’s Operating Advisor Network, Rohit will work with Bessemer portfolio companies on market entry and growth, business transformation, brand building, go-to-market excellence, and building leadership teams across complex, multi-geography organisations,” the post read.
Previously, Jawa spent nearly four decades at Unilever, holding several leadership positions across India, China, the Phillippines, Singapore, and the UK, including EVP – Global Market Operations, Chairman and CEO of Unilever Phillippines, Chairman – Unilever China and EVP – North Asia, and Global Chief of Transformation. Most recently, he served as CEO and Managing Director of HUL and President of Unilever South Asia, before departing from the company in July 2025.
