KRAFTON’s BGMI, in collaboration with DDB Mudra, has been inducted into a leading advertising hall of fame for The Great In-Game Wedding campaign. The campaign celebrated the real-life love story of gamers Tanupreet and Jaspreet, who met in the game, by recreating their wedding festivities including Mehendi, Sangeet, and Shaadi within BGMI. It combined digital gameplay with Indian cultural elements, featuring live avatars, in-game items like skins and maps, and a virtual performance by singer Benny Dayal.
The campaign was evaluated as part of IMPACT Hall of Fame 2025 by the magazine’s editorial board. Entries were assessed on idea strength, originality, narrative impact, execution, and cultural relevance.
