InterGlobe Aviation, the parent of IndiGo, has appointed Kiran Thadimarri as its Chief Financial Officer, effective 28 July. He succeeds Gaurav Negi, who has moved into the role of Advisor to the Managing Director following the leadership transition.
Thadimarri joined IndiGo as Deputy CFO and brings more than two decades of experience across finance and corporate strategy. Before joining the airline, he held senior finance roles at Udaan and spent nearly 14 years with General Electric.
The appointment comes as IndiGo looks to strengthen its finance leadership amid rising operating costs. The airline recently reported a consolidated net loss of ₹238 crore for the first quarter of FY27, despite recording a 19.9% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations.
