CaratLane – A TATA Product, an omni-channel jewellery brand and a preferred destination for engagement rings in India, has released its new regional film titled 'Written in the Stars' featuring actor Kayadu Lohar, who joins the brand as its Regional Brand Ambassador. The film has been conceptualised by BBH India, continuing the agency’s creative association with CaratLane.

The storyline centres on a modern proposal framed around family involvement and tradition. Kayadu Lohar plays a young woman who believes she is on her way to meet a prospective groom chosen by her family. What initially appears to be an arranged meeting gradually unfolds into the discovery that the person waiting for her is the partner she is already in a relationship with. The moment, planned by her father and partner, reflects the evolving dynamic of family approval and the merging of traditional values with contemporary relationships. The film concludes with the message, “Commitment is a beautiful thing. Seal it with a CaratLane ring.”
