Marriott Bonvoy, the travel programme of Marriott International, has partnered with Swiggy to extend its loyalty rewards ecosystem into everyday consumer transactions in India.
The collaboration enables users with linked accounts to earn Marriott Bonvoy points across Swiggy’s services, including food delivery, quick commerce through Instamart and dining reservations via Dineout. The initiative brings together hospitality loyalty and everyday convenience services, allowing members to accumulate travel-related rewards through routine spending.
Under the partnership, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn five points for every ₹500 spent across Swiggy’s offerings. This allows members to accumulate loyalty points not only during hotel stays but also through everyday activities such as ordering meals, hosting gatherings or purchasing groceries.
The partnership also includes additional benefits for higher-tier loyalty members. Marriott Bonvoy Elite members across tiers including Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador will receive complimentary access to Swiggy One, the platform’s membership programme that offers benefits such as free deliveries and discounts across food delivery, quick commerce and dining services.
The collaboration reflects a broader shift in loyalty programmes from travel-centric engagement to everyday consumer interactions. Marriott Bonvoy has been expanding its ecosystem in India through partnerships spanning financial services, e-commerce and sports, including a co-branded credit card with HDFC Bank, collaborations with Flipkart and the ICC, and now the integration with Swiggy.
Swiggy has similarly broadened its rewards ecosystem by integrating benefits across multiple consumer services, including travel partnerships with Indigo and hospitality through Marriott Bonvoy.
“Marriott Bonvoy has always been about creating meaningful connections with our members. With Swiggy, we are bringing loyalty into everyday life, turning daily spend into future travel. This strategic partnership allows us to meet members where they are, making Marriott Bonoy more immediate, relevant and just a tap away. It is an important milestone reflecting our growth in India and a clear step toward the future of loyalty, beyond the stay,” said John Toomey, Chief Commercial Officer, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International.
Phani Kishan Addepalli, Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder, Swiggy said, “Everyday convenience is where Swiggy shows up for consumers, whether it’s through food, quick commerce, or unique experiences. With Marriott Bonvoy, we’re turning these everyday moments into something more rewarding by letting users earn global travel benefits and stay with Marriott.”
