Prime Video launches JALLOSH; An add-on subscription for Marathi content

Prime Video has launched JALLOSH, an add-on subscription from Everest Entertainment focused on Marathi entertainment. The service brings Marathi films, nataks, original productions, devotional programming and new releases to Prime members across India.

Available at an introductory price of ₹199 for the first year, JALLOSH offers a library of more than 260 Marathi movies and 50 iconic nataks, with additional titles planned through the year.

The catalogue includes films such as Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, Tukaram, Pawankhind, Chandramukhi, Subhedar, Maharashtra Shaheer, Mumbai Pune Mumbai, Moraya and Naach Ga Ghuma, among others.

JALLOSH is being introduced as part of Prime Video’s add-on subscription marketplace, which allows Prime members to subscribe to additional content services through the Prime Video platform. According to Prime Video, the marketplace currently offers more than 30 add-on subscriptions across languages, categories and genres.

Gaurav Bhasin, Head – AVOD Business and Marketplace, Prime Video India, said, “Prime Video’s add-on subscriptions have emerged as a compelling way for streaming services and studios to connect with audiences across India. Today, with over 30 add-on subscriptions spanning multiple languages, categories, and genres, we offer Prime members one of the widest content selections available in a single destination. We are delighted to welcome JALLOSH to our growing lineup. Their rich library of Marathi entertainment—from movies and originals to nataks, devotional programming, and more—will give Prime members even greater choice, while bringing distinctive storytelling to a wider audience.”

Sanjay Chhabria, Founder, Everest Entertainment and JALLOSH, said, “Launching as an add-on subscription on Prime Video gives JALLOSH an opportunity to bring the breadth of Marathi entertainment to audiences across India. Marathi storytelling carries a creative legacy — decades of cinema, 'nataks', and culture that have shaped how Maharashtra tells its own stories. At Everest, our work has been about carrying that legacy forward with the same care and craft on which it was built. JALLOSH brings this body of work to a single destination on Prime Video, created for audiences who value rich stories rooted in culture. This is just the beginning for us: JALLOSH was built with a larger ambition, to become the definitive home for Marathi entertainment, and this collaboration is an important first step in that direction.”

Through Prime Video’s add-on subscription model, customers can manage subscriptions and billing through a single platform, while also accessing content from multiple services through one interface. The platform also offers consolidated watchlists, downloads and personalised recommendations across add-on services. JALLOSH is available at an introductory price of ₹199 for the first year, after which the subscription renews at ₹399 per year.
