Spinny Launches 'God Promise' Campaign with Sachin Tendulkar for IPL Season

Spinny, India’s leading full-stack used car platform, has unveiled a new campaign titled God Promise, launched during the IPL season and fronted by cricket icon and strategic investor Sachin Tendulkar.

The campaign underscores the values of trust, transparency and simplicity, built around the colloquial Indian phrase “God Promise,” often used to signify sincerity and absolute assurance.

"Trust us—we mean it." That is the core message behind this bold initiative, designed to connect deeply with Indian car buyers and sellers seeking confidence in their purchase decisions.

The campaign highlights a 3-year warranty with Assured+, a 5-day moneyback guarantee, access to over 10,000 cars, and a best price guarantee for both buyers and sellers—making it one of the most comprehensive offerings in the pre-owned car segment.

Sachin Tendulkar commented, “This campaign clicked with me because it's rooted in something I’ve always believed in—trust must be earned and honored. With ‘God Promise,’ Spinny isn’t just making a statement. They’re making a stand—for simplicity, sincerity, and joy in car buying and selling.”

The creative direction for God Promise was led by Tanya Mahendru, who noted, “With Sachin as the face of the brand, God Promise was the most natural derivative.”

The campaign was shot by noted photographer and filmmaker Bharat Sikka, who remarked, “Always a pleasure to work with quirky Tanya for Spinny.”

Launched across television, digital platforms, radio, OOH, and social media, the campaign is already visible in major metros via large billboards, branded cabs, and buses.

In a market often saturated with hyperbole and noise, God Promise seeks to strip things back to what truly matters: trust. With Sachin Tendulkar at its helm, Spinny makes a strong, emotional case that buying or selling a car can be as joyful and straightforward as the game India loves most.
