Swiggy and Hero MotoCorp partner on two-wheeler access and road safety for delivery riders

Swiggy and Hero MotoCorp have entered into a strategic partnership to provide delivery partners with access to two-wheeler ownership and road safety training across India.

Under the partnership, Swiggy Food Marketplace and Instamart delivery partners can select a Hero MotoCorp model through the Swiggy app and access exclusive pricing at Hero dealerships. The offering also includes customised financing options with up to 90% loan-to-value and competitive interest rates.

The collaboration also brings road safety training for Swiggy riders under Hero MotoCorp’s CSR initiative, Ride Safe India. The programmes will combine digital learning with instructor-led sessions covering preventive safety practices, hazard anticipation, responsible riding, traffic rule compliance and emergency response.

The partnership was marked by a road safety training session at Hero MotoCorp’s Traffic Training Park in Gurugram. Participants received a road safety kit comprising a full-face helmet, medical kit, certificate and reflective safety vest.

For the purchase journey, Swiggy has integrated its platform with Hero MotoCorp’s systems through APIs. Delivery partners can register their preferred model on the Swiggy app and proceed to a selected Hero MotoCorp dealership, where dedicated customer support will assist them through the purchase process.

Saurav Goyal, Chief Operating Officer, Food Marketplace, Swiggy, said, “Our delivery partners are at the heart of everything we do, and we remain committed to building solutions that support their professional growth and enable them to have a better future. Access to reliable personal mobility plays an important role in enabling delivery partners to improve their earning opportunities while ensuring convenience in their day-to-day work. Through this exclusive partnership with Hero MotoCorp, we are making vehicle ownership more accessible with curated pricing, flexible financing, and a seamless purchase journey designed specifically for our delivery partners. We are hoping that the initiative will enable more delivery partners to join us and earn more.”

Ashutosh Varma, Chief Business Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said, “At Hero MotoCorp, we believe mobility is a powerful enabler of opportunity and economic progress. Our partnership with Swiggy reflects our commitment to making reliable, affordable mobility accessible to India's delivery partners, empowering them to enhance their earning potential while benefiting from Hero's trusted products and extensive service network. Equally important, by integrating road safety training into this initiative, we are reinforcing our commitment to safer roads and rider well-being. Together, we are creating holistic mobility solutions that supports livelihoods and promotes responsible riding.”
