Tilt Brand Solutions has strengthened its creative leadership with the appointment of Giamaria Fernandes as President & Head of Design, bringing a multidisciplinary design perspective to the agency’s growing creative practice.
Fernandes brings experience spanning design, digital, UI/UX, branding, packaging, activations and experiences. Over her career, she has worked with Creativeland Asia, Design Sutra, Whyness Worldwide and FCB Ulka, and most recently served as National Creative Director at Dentsu Webchutney.
At Tilt, her remit will extend beyond traditional design roles, with a focus on using design to address broader brand and business challenges across formats, platforms and consumer touchpoints.
“Gia brings a rare combination of strong design fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to think beyond a single discipline or medium. She has worked across a wide range of creative challenges while always retaining a strong design sensibility. That makes her a great fit for the creative culture we’re building at Tilt. I’m very excited to have her join us and believe she’ll be a fantastic addition to the team,” said Adarsh Atal, Chief Creative Officer, Tilt Brand Solutions.
Fernandes said the opportunity to work beyond design’s traditional boundaries was a key draw, as she looks to bring her multidisciplinary experience to Tilt while continuing to experiment across formats and platforms.
“I’m excited to join Tilt at a time when the agency is building an ambitious, multidisciplinary creative culture. What drew me to the opportunity was the freedom to look beyond design’s traditional boundaries and use it to solve broader brand and business challenges across formats and platforms. I look forward to bringing my multidisciplinary experience to the team while continuing to learn, experiment, and build work that people genuinely remember.”
Her appointment comes as Tilt continues to build a creative leadership team bringing together different disciplines and perspectives to develop brand work across mediums.
