Usha International has renewed its partnership with Mumbai Indians, extending a long-running association into its 13th year ahead of the upcoming cricket season.
The new season is set to begin on 28, March, 2026 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, with Mumbai Indians scheduled to play their opening match a day later at Wankhede Stadium. The team will also travel to Delhi and Guwahati for away fixtures.
As part of the agreement, Usha’s branding will continue to feature on the leading side of players’ caps and helmets. The company will also have on-ground visibility through perimeter boards and in-stadium digital screens during Mumbai Indians’ home matches, under its ‘Usha Play’ initiative.
The partnership reflects Usha International’s broader focus on sports-led engagement, particularly in cricket, which offers wide reach across audiences.
“Sports has always been central to how we think about movement, energy, and everyday wellbeing at Usha. Through Usha Play, our focus has been to associate with sports right from indigenous games to highly aspirational sports like cricket, as the spectrum allows us to penetrate across age groups, regions, and socio-economic segments with one simple message – a healthy and active lifestyle for everyone. Our association with Mumbai Indians is especially meaningful in this context. Cricket’s unmatched reach, combined with MI’s culture of discipline, consistency, and performance, helps us take the spirit of play deeper into everyday life and inspire more people to embrace healthier choices. As the excitement of the new season builds, we look forward to continuing this journey with Mumbai Indians and connecting meaningfully with fans through the shared spirit of play,” said Komal Mehra, Head - Sports Initiatives & Associations, Usha International.
A Mumbai Indians spokesperson added, “Our association with Usha International has grown steadily over the years and gone from strength to strength. Their strong focus on encouraging sports, fitness, and healthier lifestyles complements the values that drive our team and the larger cricketing community. As we head into a new season, we look forward to continuing this collaboration and bringing the excitement of the game closer to our fans as always.”
The team, led by Hardik Pandya, includes players such as Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah.
Beyond cricket, Usha International supports a range of sporting disciplines, including football, golf, and initiatives for athletes with disabilities, alongside efforts to revive indigenous Indian sports such as mallakhamb and kalaripayattu.
