Victoria’s Secret has appointed Triptii Dimri as its first-ever brand ambassador in India, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion in the market.
Alongside the announcement, the brand has unveiled a teaser for its upcoming Summer Signature campaign through a visually driven digital film that centres on themes of confidence, comfort and modern femininity. Conceptualised and executed by Makani Creatives, the campaign positions Dimri at the heart of a narrative reflecting individuality and self-expression.
The film introduces Dimri as the face of Victoria’s Secret in India, underscoring a strategic shift towards more localised storytelling. Featuring multiple looks styled by Anaita Shroff Adjania, the narrative blends sleepwear, casual styling and statement fashion to mirror evolving consumer attitudes around comfort and identity.
Anchored by a voiceover from the actor emphasising confidence and authenticity, the campaign seeks to redefine conventional notions of sensuality while aligning with the brand’s broader global pivot towards inclusivity and individual-led expression.
Sharing his thoughts on the Summer Signature campaign by Victoria’s Secret, Sameer Makani, Director, Makani Creatives Pvt Ltd, said, “Victoria’s Secret first ambassador campaign in India was about more than visibility; it’s about connection. We’ve evolved the brand narrative from 'distant' to 'driven,' focusing on how Indian women actually define confidence today. It’s an elevated yet authentic approach that finally makes the Victoria's Secret brand message resonate with the Indian audience.”
The rollout is expected to expand in the coming weeks, reinforcing Victoria’s Secret’s focus on building stronger cultural resonance with Indian audiences through locally relevant communication.
