Flipkart has announced the appointment of Gunjan Bhartia as Senior Vice President, Business Finance. In his new role, Bhartia will lead eKart Business Finance across all verticals, with a focus on strengthening financial planning, performance rigour, and strategic transformation as the company continues to build a future-ready supply chain for India.
Bhartia brings over 28 years of global finance experience across Asia and the Middle East, with deep expertise in working with high-growth technology-led organisations. He has previously held senior leadership positions at companies such as GE and Coupang, where he played a key role in scaling businesses, driving large transformation programmes, and managing multi-billion-dollar initiatives. His experience also includes operating within highly regulated, listed-company environments, with a strong emphasis on investor relations, governance, and disclosure standards.
