Rituraj Singh has been promoted to the role of Podcast Lead – India at Spotify, marking a key leadership move. He announced the development through a LinkedIn post, highlighting his journey within the organisation and the rapid growth of podcasts in India.
Sharing his thoughts, Rituraj Singh said he is excited to step into the new role after working closely with creators, networks and partners over the past few years. He noted that the podcasting space has evolved from a niche segment into a strong cultural force, reflecting changing listener habits and rising demand for diverse audio content.
"Excited to share that I've stepped into a new role as Podcast Lead, India at Spotify. Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of working with some of India's most exciting creators, networks, and partners and watching the podcasting space grow from a niche to a cultural force. Singh also expressed gratitude towards his team at Spotify and collaborators who have contributed to this growth journey. He added that there is much more to build in the space, signalling a continued focus on strengthening Spotify’s podcast strategy in India in the coming years.
Rituraj Singh has been associated with Spotify for close to 6 years. Prior to his elevation, he held the role of Senior Podcast Partner Manager.
