Vineet Jain has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Reliance Retail’s Fashion & Lifestyle Business.
In his new role, Jain will lead operations across the business, with responsibilities spanning operational excellence, customer experience, business development, network expansion and asset productivity. He will also support the business’s next phase of sustainable and profitable growth.
Jain brings nearly three decades of experience in the retail sector, having built and scaled large-format businesses across multiple consumer categories.
Before joining Reliance Retail, he was Chief Operating Officer at V-Mart Retail. Prior to that, he spent more than 17 years at Future Group, where he held several leadership roles, including CEO – North India.
During his tenure, Jain was involved in building and expanding retail formats such as Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar and FBB. He also worked on the development of the Big Bazaar GEN NXT format and led the turnaround of businesses including Easyday and Big Apple.
Earlier in his career, Jain was part of the founding leadership team at Vishal Retail, now Vishal Mega Mart. He began his professional journey in the textile and financial services sectors, building experience in business operations and finance.
