Flipkart’s Big Billion Days links up with BGMI through Name2Claim, a challenge where gamers adopt their tags as official names

Flipkart Teams Up with BGMI for Big Billion Days 2025

As part of its Big Billion Days 2025 sale, Flipkart has expanded its campaign theme ‘Yahan Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’ through an unexpected collaboration with Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

During the annual sale, gaming products such as chairs, accessories, and high-performance devices are among the most popular purchases. This year, Flipkart has introduced a challenge designed specifically for gamers, offering a chance to win their wishlist items.

The initiative, titled ‘Name2Claim’, has been conceptualised by DDB Mudra. Drawing inspiration from the quirky usernames that define BGMI’s culture, the campaign dares participants to adopt their gamer tag as their official, real-world name.

To take part, gamers can visit name2claim.in and submit a classified-style advertisement declaring their new identity. These ads will then be published, formalising the playful act of transforming a virtual identity into a real one.

Pratik Shetty, Vice president – Marketing & Growth, Flipkart, said, “Gaming is one of the fastest-growing passions in India, and BGMI has built a community that thrives on creativity and fun. With Name2Claim, we wanted to celebrate that culture in a way only Flipkart can by turning something as quirky as a gamer tag into a real, official identity. It’s a light-hearted challenge that shows how far gamers will go for what they love, and a reminder that during Big Billion Days, yahan sach-much kuch bhi ho sakta hai.”

Gagandeep Bindra and Rahul Arcot, Group Creative Directors, DDB Mudra Group added, “BGMI fans are one of the most fun-loving and creative communities out there. It shows in how they engage on social and in the gamer names they choose. One more great thing about them? They love a good challenge. With Name2Claim, we gave them the most unexpected dare. Change their real name to their gamer tag and win the ultimate gaming wishlist from Flipkart. Crazy? Absolutely. Possible? Only for a true BGMI fan.”

The campaign rolled out with a playful film created entirely from in-game footage, highlighting the endless fun and quirks of the BGMI world. Through this collaboration, Flipkart reinforces its Big Billion Days promise of 'Yahan Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai', proving that even a gamer tag can unlock the deal of your dreams.
