Myntra, one of India’s top fashion, beauty, and lifestyle platforms, has reached a significant milestone as over 500,000 creators have signed up for its ‘Ultimate Glam Clan’ program since its launch in September 2024. The initiative is now considered one of India’s largest shopper-to-creator programmes, designed to transform everyday shoppers into content creators.
Focused on building a more authentic and engaging shopping experience, the program allows creators to share product reviews through high-quality photos and videos, earning rewards in the process. The concept has resonated especially well with Gen-Z audiences, who now make up 67% of new signups in recent months.
Speaking on the success of the initiative, Sunder Balasubramanian, Chief Marketing Officer, Myntra, said, “The growth of this program is a testament to the growing demand for authentic, user-generated content & feedback loops in the digital ecosystem. At Myntra, we understand that today’s consumers, especially Gen-Z, prioritise authenticity when making purchasing decisions, and this program is our way of creating a platform that shares real, relatable experiences between fellow shoppers. This enhances trust and the connection customers feel when making purchases, making their shopping journey more personal.”
Myntra measures success via signups, the proportion of active creators, and user-generated post volume. The average monthly earning for a creator is around ?900 in Myntra credits, with top creators making over Rs 2 lakh in seven months. Creators can earn up to ?25,000 per month and more through exclusive challenges.
The program’s gamified tier system enables creators to rise from ‘Expert’ to ‘Trendsetter’ based on content volume, views, and shopping influence. Income opportunities begin at the 'Leader' level and scale up with performance and reach.
The recent addition of video posts has doubled earning potential for creators, reinforcing Myntra’s push for dynamic, video-first content.
Supporting this is the Real-Time Analytics Dashboard, a powerful tool offering insights into views, clicks, and reach, helping creators optimise their content strategies.
This milestone reinforces Myntra’s strategy of community-led commerce, blending authenticity with rewards to reshape the digital fashion shopping experience in India.
