WE SHOULD CLOSE 12 SPONSORS FOR KBC 10, HAVE ALREADY SOLD 65% INVENTORY: ROHIT GUPTA
Sony Entertainment Television is all set to launch the 10th season of the hugely popular, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). The show will go on-air on September 3 at 9pm. Sony Pictures Networks has also launched a content production company, Studio Next that has co-produced the new season of the show, along with Big Synergy. In the future, Studio Next will be an independent arm that will produce new IPs whilst leveraging the existing ones, thereby becoming a global content creator that cuts across boundaries and cultures. With the campaign #KabTakRokoge for the tenth season, KBC is aiming at celebrating the spirit of resilience in people. Viewers can look forward to a special ‘Curtain Raiser’ episode which will be telecast on Sony Entertainment Television on September 2 at 9pm.

Rohit Gupta, President, Network Sales, and International Business, Sony Pictures Networks talks about the sponsors that are already on board and about how the network is working on roping in more sponsors.

ABOUT THE SPONSORS: This year, Vivo V11 Pro and Mahindra Marazzo are co-powered sponsors for the show while Aakash Institute, Axis Bank, Asian Paints, CEAT, Raymond and Syska Wires & Cables are the associate sponsors.

MORE SPONSORSHIPS IN THE PIPELINE: Currently we have eight sponsors on board and have so far sold 65% of the inventory. We should close 12 sponsors. We are in talks with 4-5 other brands and we might close the deal in the next couple of days. Last year we were 100% sold out before the launch of the show, and we expect the same this year. The KBC brand is very big and it is a show which brands wait for.
